About the company:
Comeco is a family-owned business and part of the Belgian Pork Group, a network of eight sites in Belgium focused on producing high-quality pork. The group processes approximately 420,000 tons of pork annually, a significant portion of which is exported to more than 50 countries worldwide.
The Comeco site, located in Meer (Hoogstraten), employs around 100 people, mainly blue-collar workers. Approximately 13,000 pigs are slaughtered and processed here weekly, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
Your responsibilities:
- Drive pigs forward within the facility using egal guidelines and keep the animals as stress-free as possible
- Operate the CO2 sedating machine
- Hang the stunned pigs
- Be responsible for bleeding the stunned pigs

- You can work independently
- You are hands-on, enjoy challenges, and are comfortable working in a slaughterhouse environment
- You are flexible with working hours
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch or English
