About the company:
Comeco is a family-owned business and part of the Belgian Pork Group, a network of eight sites in Belgium focused on producing high-quality pork. The group processes approximately 420,000 tons of pork annually, a significant portion of which is exported to more than 50 countries worldwide.
The Comeco site, located in Meer (Hoogstraten), employs around 100 people, mainly blue-collar workers. Approximately 13,000 pigs are slaughtered and processed here weekly, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensure the availability and reliability of installations
- Perform modifications and overhauls
- Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance on installations and auxiliary equipment
- Resolve malfunctions as quickly as possible and propose improvements to prevent future issues
What we expect:
- You have a degree in electricity or electromechanics, or relevant experience in electricity
- You are open to a hands-on, all-round technician role
- You can communicate well in Dutch or English
- You have knowledge of PLC and I/O configuration
- You can read and draw electrical diagrams
- You are skilled in troubleshooting
- You are flexible with working hours (early/late shifts) and Saturday work (with one weekday off)
